Transport indicators are incorruptible and non-manipulable witnesses that accompany your products during transport to their final destination on or in the package. Changes in the colour of the indicators show everyone clearly and immediately that the relevant transport regulations have not been complied with. Our indicators detect shocks and tipping, non-compliance with the temperature chain and exceeding prescribed humidity values. Simply detect impacts: our ShockWatch impact indicators
In the Monitoring Shop you will find high-quality shock and tilt indicators from renowned manufacturers. For example, we rely on solutions from the ShockWatch® brand for our impact indicators. The tried-and-tested label for attaching to packaging is available in different versions with varying sensitivity. This means that you can purchase the right indicator for transport monitoring in every case. The ShockWatch® indicators clearly show whether freight may have been damaged by shocks during transport. The condition of the indicator can be recognised at a glance during the individual intermediate stages of shipping. If damage has occurred, you can trace it back. The ShockWatch® impact indicators are also available as a clip, mini-clip, RFID and - for curved surfaces - in the Flex version. You can also label all packages with the eye-catching yellow ShockWatch® warning tape.
TiltWatch tilt indicators for displaying excessive tilt
For the tilt indicators, we rely on the TiltWatch® brand. With these transport indicators, you can check whether the specified upright position has been maintained during transport for goods that are sensitive to tipping. Two examples: With the TiltWatch® Plus indicator, even slight tilts from 30° can be recognised and displayed in various stages up to 80°. The manufacturer's XTR variant is ideal for less sensitive products. This indicates when a tilt angle of over 83° has been reached during transport.
Indicators for temperature during transport and storage
A closed cold chain is particularly important in the medical and food sectors. In order to control this for transport and storage, we have temperature indicators available for you in our online shop. These are usually attached to the package to be transported before shipping begins and are triggered if there is a deviation from a defined reference value:
- COLDMARK® indicators are suitable for cold-sensitive goods. Above a certain value, these are activated and indicate that the products have been exposed to excessively low temperatures.
- We also have the 3M™ Freeze Watch™ indicators available for you. These are useful when freezing temperatures are undesirable.
- You should use WarmMark® for products that need to be stored and transported permanently cool. These indicators also show the potential length of time that a parcel has not been exposed to the specified temperatures.
- The BloodTemp indicator is specially designed for the transport and storage of blood products. It continuously registers the core temperature of the blood pack and indicates when it may no longer be used due to deviating temperatures.
- The MonitorMark™ indicators from 3M™ are primarily used for secondary packaging. They indicate when the product quality needs to be checked.

Transport indicators from the experts - get advice
In addition to the impact and tilt indicators already mentioned, the Monitoring Shop also offers moisture and time indicators. With the latter, you can attach a visual reminder to products or devices and thus recognise at an early stage whether measures are required. The indicator window changes colour as time passes until the specified interval has expired and it has completely changed colour. With humidity indicators, you can keep an eye on the humidity during transport and storage, which is relevant for a wide range of products in all industrial sectors.
