ShockWatch Clip & Mini-Clip

With shock indicators from Shockwatch^® you can monitor the transportation of sensitive products and determine whether a package has been damaged during transport. With a Shockwatch^® clip, you can extend your control and have the option of examining not only the forces acting on the packaging, but also those acting inside the packaging and thus influencing the product. These can be less strong outside the packaging than inside. At Transport Control, you will find clips in various designs and different sensitivity levels.

The clip is attached directly to the product inside the packaging. As with the impact indicators, which are placed on the outer side of the package, the clip turns red if the specified guideline value is exceeded. However, an activated indicator does not immediately mean that your product has been damaged, but serves as proof that the guideline value has been exceeded. The clip can be attached both during transportation and during use, allowing you to ensure proper and gentle handling.

We carry different types of Shockwatch^® clips. In addition to the simple single variants, we also carry particularly small versions, the so-called mini clips and double clips. The latter can be used to determine exactly which direction the excessive impact came from:

• Both indicators red = vertical shock;
• Left indicator red = horizontal push from left
• Right indicator = horizontal pushß from the right

As an even smaller version of the Shockwatch clip, the Shockwatch MiniClip offers an excellent opportunity to be attached to even the smallest devices. The self-adhesive backing allows it to be attached and removed at any time without any problems. By attaching the Shockwatch MiniClip directly to the device, the handling of the device can be permanently monitored. Any damage caused by production errors or incorrect handling of the device can thus be analysed with regard to the cause.

In general, all Shockwatch labels and Shockwatch clips react to shocks 360° axially. In the case of horizontal shocks from the left or right side, there may be slight tolerance shifts with regard to the readout accuracy. If the display of horizontal shocks is of particular importance, the use of a Shockwatch MiniClip-Double is recommended. The two small tubes shown in the illustration are positioned 180° to each other according to their function, thus enabling optimum readout behaviour, especially for horizontal rods.
