Temperature Measuring Strips
Temperature measuring strips from Transport Control International are a practical tool for monitoring climatic conditions, for example during transport or storage. Find out more below about our temperature and transport indicators and why they are worthwhile.
Functionality and Areas of Application of Temperature Measuring Strips
Monitoring temperature gradients and limits is extremely important in industry, trade and research in order to prevent damage to technical equipment and perishable goods caused by temperatures that are too high or too low. Especially when transporting and storing food, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics and sensitive raw materials, it is advisable to measure the environmental conditions precisely. The temperature stickers from our online store are a simple solution to achieve this. The self-adhesive indicators can be used to easily detect changes in a range from 40 °C to 260 °C.
Instead of relying on complicated and costly measurement technology, you can simply monitor the temperature with our temperature stickers. Inside the measuring strips is a heat- or cold-active indicator substance. This substance changes color to indicate that the limit value has been exceeded or undercut. This is achieved by an organic chemical that is specially adapted to each application. It melts when a predefined temperature is reached and releases the dye. Depending on the particular model, this process is reversible or irreversible. Your advantage: The measuring strip cannot be manipulated without being destroyed, so that you can also prove deletion tests. You document the measurement results in quality and test reports so that you have proof of warranty in the event of an emergency.
