ASPION Data Loggers
ASPION G-Log: Transport Monitoring of Shocks and more
It can happen quickly: A shipping crate or a transport container tips over, breaks loose during transport, suffers a fall or is exposed to unintentional shocks. Damage to sensitive freight can quickly occur. When shipping goods and cargo, this can have costly consequences if the cause is not found. This is because transport insurance only applies if the damage can be proven. The low-cost shock sensor ASPION G-Log data logger provides a seamless record of shocks during transport. This records every critical transport event, no matter where the journey takes you.
Operating Principle
The shock sensor is attached to the transported goods before shipping, initialised with threshold values and activated. During transport, it stores events such as shocks or climate values that are outside the tolerance limit. The data can be read out at any time using an NFC or BLE-enabled smartphone via an app or PC software with a USB card reader and automatically transmitted via common transmission networks.
Advantages at a Glance:
- Reliable logging of vibration/shock
- Small, compact housing design, easy to fix
- Simple commissioning with specification of tolerance limits via NFC üvia PC software and app
- Direct readout of data with NFC card reader + PC software or app evaluation
- Ergonomic, easy-to-use PC software
- Evaluations can be integrated into third-party systems, export function and PDF report
- Precise information about shock with detailed progression and positional dataon shock with detailed progression and position visualization
- Long battery life and long shelf life
- Very affordable, also suitable for disposable use
- Individually configurable, universally applicable
Easy Handling with Smartphone App
The ASPION G-Log Manager software and a USB card reader are used to write to and read out the shock sensor via NFC. The readout can also be carried out using an app with an NFC or BLE-capable smartphone (with Android or iOS operating systems), and the evaluation is simply sent by email to the control centre, for example. Threshold values for shock and permitted climate range are efficiently managed via profiles. A time-controlled start, checking the battery capacity, evaluations with a selectable time zone and location visualisation or export as a PDF report or Excel format are all done at the click of a mouse.
