ASPION G-Log 2 Waterproof: The ASPION G-Log 2 Waterproof is a shock and climate data logger that records vibrations , shocks and climate data . It has a 3-axis acceleration sensor as well as a temperature and humidity sensor . The data logger stores acceleration values that are above a defined threshold value as well as the duration of the shocks . Climate values can be recorded continuously or only when the values exceed or fall below certain limits. The data logger can be reused several times for different transports.
The ASPION PC software is used to set the threshold values and transfer them to the ASPION G-Log 2 Waterproof. After reading out the data logger, the software displays the recorded measured values. Wireless transmission for configuring the data logger takes place via Near Field Communication (NFC) with a card reader that is connected to the PC via the USB interface. Alternatively, the data logger can also be activated via smartphone app using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) , independently of the PC software (only available in conjunction with the ASPION Premium service). This enables service providers, for example, to activate the data logger easily and regardless of location.
The ASPION app for smartphones , which is available for iOS and Android , also makes it easy to read out the data logger. Data can be transferred either via NFC or BLE, even through packaging. Recorded events are displayed in the app or can be PIN-protected if required. The data can either simply be sent by email or automatically transferred via cloud transfer (ASPION Premium service). Further evaluation and analysis of the data is then carried out using the ASPION PC software.
Each data logger has a unique ID that is stored on the label and as a barcode. In addition, the QR code on the label can be scanned with a smartphone to go directly to the relevant app store and install the ASPION app.
The shock and climate data logger is available in two versions:
ASPION G-Log 2 (item no.:79A-G-LOG2) : Housing with protection class IP 50; battery can be replaced by the user
ASPION G-Log 2 Waterproof: Waterproof version for outdoor use Housing with protection class IP 65/67; battery replaceable by the user
