The testo 176 T2 temperature logger is particularly suitable for reliable temperature monitoring on two channels. This is because two Pt100 probes of your choice can be connected to the data logger, which you can order from our range of probes. This makes it possible to safely store the temperature values from different measuring locations and compare them on the logger display on site if required
You can carry out temperature monitoring over a longer period of time (even without reading out the data logger too often). This is because the testo 176 T2 temperature logger can store up to 2 million readings. The battery life of up to 8 years is also practical for long-term temperature monitoring.
Technical features and practical benefits
On the logger display, you can get an overview of the current readings, set limit values and limit value violations, minimum and maximum values as well as the remaining battery time at any time. This means you do not have to read out the data logger on your PC for a quick check of this data.
Data security is a top priority for us: You can rely on the fact that the measurement data stored in the temperature logger will not be lost. The data is retained even if the battery is empty or if you change the battery in the logger.
The temperature logger is suitable for use in the food sector: It is certified according to EN 12830 (tested by the ATP test center of TÜV Süd) and HACCP compliant. In accordance with protection class IP 65, the data logger is protected against water jets and can remain at the measuring location when cleaning takes place there.

Programming and evaluating the data logger
Programming and reading out the data logger as well as analyzing the measurement data requires the use of software. You can choose between three different software versions:
ComSoft Basic software - available as a free download - is ideal for quick programming of the temperature logger and simple data analysis
ComSoft Professional software - additionally available - offers various options for more detailed analysis of the temperature values
ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software - additionally available - intended for applications in the pharmaceutical sector with the special requirements of CFR 21 Part 11
A USB cable is required to program the data logger, which is not included in the scope of delivery. The measurement data can also be transferred to the PC via the USB cable, or optionally via an SD card. We offer both as optional accessories.
