The testo 175 T3 temperature logger is equipped with two connections for external thermocouple probes (type T or type K). This makes the data logger ideal for carrying out temperature recording on two channels. This is necessary, for example, if you want to check the functionality of a heating system. The temperature logger measures the flow and return temperatures simultaneously. The data logger can also be used in industrial production control if process temperatures need to be checked at various points.
State-of-the-art measurement technology, high data security
You can select the external thermocouple sensors from our wide range of sensors and order them in addition to the data logger. This gives you the flexibility to decide for yourself exactly what your temperature logger needs to be able to do. We offer surface sensors, air sensors and immersion/penetration sensors, among others. The measuring range and accuracy depend on the thermocouple sensor selected. In principle, it is possible to measure from -50 °C to +1 000 °C with the appropriate sensor.
You can view the current measured values, min/max values, the set limit values, limit value violations and the remaining battery life on the clear display. This means you can read important values at any time and do not have to read out the temperature logger on the PC immediately for every quick data check.
The long battery life of up to 3 years and the large measurement data memory, which stores up to 1 million measured values, are extremely convenient for the user: even with shorter measurement intervals, the temperature logger only needs to be read out relatively rarely. To operate the data logger, you can use standard batteries (AAA), which you can replace yourself. This is particularly practical if temperature recording is to take place in dirty and dusty environments: The temperature logger is protected against the ingress of dust as well as splashes and jets of water in accordance with protection class IP 65.
Good to know: The stored measurement data is not lost even when the battery is empty or when the battery is replaced. You can therefore rely on a high level of data security when using the temperature logger.
Programming and evaluating the temperature logger
You can choose between three different software versions for programming and reading out the data logger and for analyzing the measurement data on the PC:
-
ComSoft Basic software - can be downloaded free of charge - for quick programming of the data logger and simple measurement data analysis
-
ComSoft Professional software - can be ordered as an option - offers various options for more precise analysis of temperature values
-
ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software - can be ordered as an option - suitable for the special requirements of CFR 21 Part 11 in the pharmaceutical sector
