OpsWatch
Machines or components of production plants are at risk both during transportation due to unacceptable impact events and during operation due to damaging oscillations or vibrations. OpsWatch combines the monitoring of both scenarios - mobile transport monitoring during transportation to the destination and a WLAN condition monitoring system for machine monitoring during operation. Immediate information about unacceptable events can prevent damage in advance or control targeted action planning.
Thanks to the integrated intelligent electronics, OpsWatch controls the power supply automatically. During transportation via the integrated lithium batteries and when connected to the in-house power supply, the system automatically switches to power supply. OpsWatch is pre-programmed in advance with 2 configurations. For transport monitoring and for condition monitoring. If OpsWatch is connected to the power supply, the device automatically switches to the pre-programmed configuration for condition monitoring.
- OpsWatch means
- Protection of the equipment
- Avoidance of downtimes
- Maximization of capacity utilization
- Cost reduction
Shock and vibration monitoring must be considered holistically as part of a condition monitoring system. Immediate information about critical vibrations that occur prevents reduced machine performance and prevents machine failure through timely machine servicing. All machines and systems that contain integrated components such as conveyor belts, gears, bearings, drive motors and other moving parts have a certain range in which normal vibrations occur during operation. The normal stresses during operation cause abrasion and wear and lead to changes in vibration behavior over time. OpsWatch enables condition monitoring in the low frequency range of shocks and vibrations to detect deviations. If the vibration values are outside the permitted range, OpsWatch sends an alarm to the easy-to-use server software via WLAN communication.
Key features of OpsWatch
- User-friendly software
- Configuration via WLAN-enabled end devices such as smartphone, notebook or tablet
- Maximum peak values for x, y and z axis for individually adjustable timeslots
- Adjustable warning and limit values
- Dual mode monitoring: 1) condition monitoring system and 2) transport monitoring in one device
Condition monitoring:
- Data transmission of shock and vibration values via WLAN to server-based software
- Recording of an almost unlimited number of events during machine operation
- Alarm values are only deleted after confirmation by the user
- Data acquisition from one or more OpsWatch devices at one location
Transport monitoring:
- Recording of up to 870 events
- Programmable wake-up values for maximum battery life
- Data is automatically transferred to the system via WLAN when connected to the power supply
