Transport indicators are infallible and tamper-proof witnesses that accompany your products on their journey to their final destination, attached to or inside the package. Any colour changes in the indicators clearly and immediately show everyone that the relevant transport regulations have not been complied with. Our indicators detect impacts and tilting, breaches of the cold chain, and instances where prescribed humidity levels are exceeded. In the Monitoring Shop, you will find high-quality shock and tilt indicators from renowned manufacturers. For our shock indicators, we rely on solutions from the ShockWatch® brand. This tried-and-tested Label, designed to be attached to packaging, is available in various versions with different sensitivity levels. This means you can purchase the right indicator for transport monitoring from us, whatever your requirements. ShockWatch® indicators clearly show whether a consignment may have been damaged by impacts during transit. At each stage of the shipping process, the condition of the indicator can be assessed at a glance. Should any damage have occurred, you can trace it back to its source. We also stock ShockWatch® impact indicators as clips, mini-clips, RFID versions and – for curved surfaces – the Flex version. You can also mark all packages with the eye-catching yellow ShockWatch® warning tape.

When it comes to tilt indicators, we rely on the TiltWatch® brand. These transport indicators allow you to verify whether goods susceptible to tipping have maintained the specified upright position during transport. Two examples: The TiltWatch® Plus indicator can detect even slight tilts from 30° and displays them in various increments up to 80°. For less sensitive products, the manufacturer’s XTR variant is ideal. This indicates when a tilt of more than 83° has been reached during transport.

A continuous cold chain is of paramount importance, particularly in the medical and food sectors. To monitor this during transport and storage, we offer temperature indicators in our online shop. These are usually placed inside the package to be transported before dispatch and are triggered if the temperature deviates from a predefined reference value:

• ColdMark® indicators are suitable for temperature-sensitive goods. They activate once a certain threshold is reached, indicating that the products have been exposed to low temperatures.
• We also stock 3M™ Freeze-Watch™ indicators. These are ideal when freezing temperatures are undesirable.
• For products that must be stored and transported at a constant cool temperature, you should use WarmMark®. These indicators also show the potential duration for which a parcel was not exposed to the specified temperatures.
• The BloodTemp indicator is specifically designed for the transport and storage of blood products. It continuously monitors the core temperature of the blood product and indicates when it can no longer be used due to temperature deviations.
• 3M™ MonitorMark™ indicators are primarily used for outer packaging or secondary packaging. They indicate when product quality needs to be checked.

In addition, we stock temperature indicator strips capable of detecting temperature fluctuations across a range from 29 °C to 290 °C. Take advantage of our extensive selection!

In addition to the shock and tilt indicators mentioned above, the Monitoring Shop also stocks humidity and time indicators. The latter allow you to attach a visual reminder to products or equipment, enabling you to identify at an early stage whether action is required. The indicator window changes colour over time until the specified interval has elapsed and it has completely changed colour. Humidity indicators allow you to monitor humidity levels during transport and storage, compliance with which is relevant for a wide range of products across all industrial sectors.
