Blood Temp Temperature Indicators

The Timestrip® Blood Temp indicators are reliable tools for ensuring quality control of blood products. They monitor whether the core temperature of blood exceeds critical thresholds during transport and temporary storage. This supports blood banks and hospitals in maintaining the cold chain and guarantees safe storage and handling of blood products.

Easy activation:
The indicators are activated with a simple button press. The “ON” window changes from yellow to green, confirming readiness for use. Before activation, the indicators remain inert and can be safely stored or shipped at room temperature.

Clear status display:
If the blood core temperature rises above the set threshold (+6 °C or +10 °C, depending on the model), the viewing window irreversibly changes from white to blue. This provides a clear and non-resettable indication of temperature breaches.

Practical & secure:
With simple handling, clear colour indication, and unique serial numbers, the Blood Temp indicators are user-friendly and ensure maximum traceability in cold chain management.
