Blood Temp temperature indicators
The Timestrip® Blood Temp is used for quality assurance during transportation and storage of blood products. The indicator is activated at the touch of a button and clearly indicates whether the temperature of the blood has risen above the limit value (accuracy up to ±0.5 °C). As soon as the core temperature of a blood product exceeds +6 °C / +10 °C, the indicator window changes color from white to blue.
Easy to Use
Timestrip® Blood Temp is inactive before activation. The indicator can therefore be shipped and stored at ambient temperature.
Activate at room temperature
Activation is only possible at ambient temperatures above 10 °C (limit temperature). Pressing the blister firmly on the surface fills the activation field with green.
Clear status display
The Blood Temp has two display windows: a status display, which is yellow before activation, and a display for exceeding the limit temperature, which is white before activation,
- Activation at the touch of a button
-
Active / inactive status display
- Simple interpretation in the event of a limit value violation
