trusted T9 - Global positioning
The T9 is a 2G (GSM) tracking device for the permanent location of objects all over the world. The device is characterized by modern technology and an intelligent design. Among other things, it has a very long battery life and an extremely robust housing.
The housing is designed for operating temperatures between -20 °C and +85 °C, while the battery lasts for at least 7 years with 1 positioning/day.
The T9 has been specially developed for locating tools and containers. However, the tracker can also be used for long-term tracking of a much wider range of objects that do not have a power supply.
Using a 2G module (GSM), position reports are transmitted to a server via GPRS. If possible, positions are determined using GPS. If this is not possible, the position is determined via GSM network localization. Reports are generated at fixed intervals, for example twice a day.
An internal memory (256 positions) stores data when there is no network coverage. The data is sent as soon as network coverage is available again.
Additional reports can be triggered by sensors such as motion, temperature, tilt and light sensors.
If required, an integrated UHF radio interface can be activated for short-range positioning.
