The testo 175 T2 temperature data logger has an internal sensor and a connection for an external temperature probe. This makes it ideal for use if you not only want to record the room air temperature, but also want to carry out a further temperature check (e.g. core temperature sampling).
This is practical when storing and processing food, for example: measure the ambient conditions of your goods in storage rooms or cold stores and check the temperature of the goods themselves at the same time - e.g. with a penetration probe (optional). It is also possible to check the temperature in the spaces between the packaging. The measurement results from both channels are securely stored in your temperature data logger.
State-of-the-art measurement technology, high data security
The temperature sensor, which is permanently installed in the data logger, is an NTC sensor that measures with a high degree of accuracy (±0.5 °C). The measuring range of the internal temperature sensor extends from -35 °C to +55 °C. This means that the temperature data logger can also be used very well in cold stores or freezer rooms.
The accuracy and measuring range of the optionally connectable NTC sensor depend on the selected sensor model. For example, measurements in higher temperature ranges (up to +120 °C) are also possible with the appropriate temperature sensor.
The temperature data logger's clear display shows the current measured values, min/max values, the set limit values, limit value violations and the remaining battery life. This allows you to check the most important data at any time without having to read out the temperature data logger on the PC. Even with shorter measuring cycles, the data logger needs to be read out less frequently. This is thanks to its large memory for up to 1 million measured values and the battery life of up to 3 years. The standard batteries (AAA) can be replaced by the user at any time.
You can rely on a high level of data security when using the testo 175 T2 temperature data logger. The stored measurement data is not lost even if the battery is flat or is replaced.
Programming and evaluating the temperature data logger
You need software to program and read out your temperature data logger and to evaluate the measurement data on a PC. We offer three different software versions:
-
ComSoft Basic software - available as a free download - enables quick programming of the data logger and simple measurement data analysis
-
ComSoft Professional software - optionally available - offers various options for more detailed analysis of the measurement results
-
ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software - optionally available - can be used for the special requirements of CFR 21 Part 11 in the pharmaceutical sector
Tested and certified for use in the food sector
- Tested in accordance with EN 12830 (tested by the ATP test center of TÜV Süd)
- HACCP-compliant and certified by HACCP-International
- Protected against splashes and jets of water in accordance with protection class IP 65: this means the temperature data logger can remain at the measuring location, even when the warehouse, cold store, etc. is being cleaned
