MSR165 Shock and Vibration Data Logger for Precise Long-Term Measurements (165B8A3)
The MSR165 shock and vibration data logger is a compact and versatile solution for accurately recording shocks, vibrations, and stress over long periods. It is equipped with an internal or external 3-axis accelerometer (±200 g) and offers additional sensor options for temperature, humidity, pressure, and light. The logger is ideal for applications in transport monitoring, quality control, and demanding environments such as aerospace. The MSR165 is also approved for air freight applications.
Product Description:
Shock and vibration detection: The MSR165 supports sampling rates of up to 1600 readings per second, making it perfect for capturing even subtle vibrations and shock events in high detail.
Flexible memory capacity: By default, the MSR165 stores more than 2 million data points. With an optional microSD card, this can be expanded to over 1 billion readings.
Long operating time: The built-in 1000 mAh LiPo battery enables continuous operation for up to 6 months. Alternatively, swappable Li-SOCl₂ batteries offer operation for up to 5 years. An optional MSR Power Pack can further extend the recording duration.
Powerful software tools: The MSR PC software simplifies setup and data processing. For advanced analysis, the MSR ShockViewer software provides detailed graphical evaluations of shock events.
Robust design and easy data access: The sealed PC housing reliably protects the electronics from environmental influences. Recorded data can be transferred to a computer via USB or microSD card.

Product Information:
The MSR165 is available with a 3-axis accelerometer that measures either ±15 g or ±200 g, depending on the model. The ±15 g version is best suited for applications involving light shocks and vibrations, such as parcel or pallet shipment. This sensor records shocks up to ±15 g at up to 1600 readings per second, ensuring high precision over time.
For applications involving high-impact shocks, the ±200 g sensor is the ideal choice. It is especially suited for transport monitoring and industrial tasks such as drop testing and impact analysis. In fields like aerospace or aviation, it is ideal for capturing sudden force impacts.
With the ability to select the desired sensor type, the MSR165 provides exceptional f
