The sound level meter for professionals: measure, save, evaluate
Just like the testo 816 sound level meter, the testo 816-1 comes in a practical carrying case and you can benefit from the many technical features for professional noise measurement in the field of occupational health and safety and immission control:
You can switch the measurement time - depending on your requirements - from Slow (measurement once per second) to Fast (measurement every 125 milliseconds). You can also choose between two frequency weightings: Characteristic curve A corresponds to the sound pressure perception of the human ear, characteristic curve C evaluates the low-frequency components of a sound.
You can also recalibrate the testo 816-1 sound level meter directly on site using the optionally available sound calibrator and the screwdriver supplied.
The measurement values are easy to read on the illuminated display, even in poor visibility conditions.
The testo 816-1 sound level meter does even more: it has an internal data logger and can store up to 31,000 readings directly in the instrument. You can easily transfer the measurement data to a PC using the USB connection cable supplied. The PC software also included in the scope of delivery supports you with data management and evaluation. In addition, the software also enables long-term measurements, in which the current measurement data can be tracked directly on the PC. To do this, the sound level meter must be connected to the PC.
